I work with video and motion graphics, and it definitely doesn't feel like old or slow. In spite of being a late 2013 model, I love my MacPro, and compared to my 2018 Macbook Pro, it kicks ass in all respects. Are there different levels of Metal support? Do I need to change performance settings in Photoshop or Bridge or something like that? Or is my computer just 'too old' to handle this? Where is this discrepancy coming from? I have never before gotten a message regarding insufficient graphics processing power. When I open a RAW file in ACR and choose Enhance, I get an error saying that it 'requires a graphic card with Metal support' – which I should have, as far as System Profiler tells me. I was eager to try the new Enhance feature in ACR. I'm on MacOS 10.15.7, and my Creative Cloud is (always) up to date. According to System Profiler, they support Metal ('feature set macOS GPUFamily2 v1').
